Queen Alexandra’s Wedding Necklace
Prince Albert worked hard on what to give Princess Alexandra (Denmark) for their wedding in 1863. He spent about $18,522 on the set that included a brooch, pair of earrings, and a diamond necklace. It’s valued at $1.6 million now and was handed down from the Queen Mother to Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge.
The Queen Mary Fringe Tiara
This piece of jewelry has a rich and wonderful history, so it’s no surprise that it was valued at $5 million! It was a stunning diamond piece that started as a necklace when worn by Queen Victoria and Queen Mary. After Mary had it reworked to be a tiara, she gave it to Princess Anne.
